Niall Handy is a barrister with a broad civil practice and with specific expertise in planning and environmental law, enforcement and judicial review, EU law. He has acted in a number of key cases in these area, for applicants, developer, local authorities, semi-state entities and for State parties alike. He is a member of the committee of the Irish Environmental Law Association, is a guest lecturer on the Advanced Diploma in Planning and Environmental Law at the Kings Inns, and gives regular briefings to professional bodies including the Irish Planning Institute.
